Blending is the art of creating a wine by combining several grape varieties and/or cuvées (aged in tanks or barrels) from the same vintage. This technique produces wines that are more complex, richer, and better balanced, while enhancing their aromatic range.
By achieving the right balance between grape varieties, the winemaker expresses the character and personality of the estate and its terroir — like a signature.
