A committed winery
in the heart of Pessac-Léognan
For over 30 years, the Boutemy family has cultivated a human-scale vineyard in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, on a beautiful Graves terroir. Certified Terra Vitis and HVE3, we have chosen environmentally friendly, sustainable, and rigorous viticulture.

Since 1989, the Boutemy family has nurtured Château Haut-Lagrange with passion and energy. Two generations committed to a single goal: to reveal the full character of our Pessac-Léognan terroir.
Tradition and modernity intertwine to create an estate that continues to evolve, faithful to its roots and focused on the future.
A château run by a close-knit team, where every effort counts to deliver quality white and red wines that tell a story.
The Haut-Lagrange vineyard covers 8.43 hectares in Léognan, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
The soil, composed of deep gravel, provides excellent drainage and promotes grape ripeness. It is this demanding terroir that gives our wines their unique character.
We cultivate four grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for the reds, and Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon for the whites. A classic Pessac-Léognan grape variety, carefully cultivated to express the finesse and balance characteristic of the appellation.

Certified Terra Vitis and HVE 3, we are fully committed to sustainable and responsible viticulture in the heart of Pessac-Léognan. We care for the land, its living organisms, and those who live and work there.
We strive to respect biodiversity, ensure the well-being of our teams, and adhere to strict specifications, which are audited annually.
This approach makes our estate a welcoming place to live and work, while producing authentic wines that fully reflect their terroir.
